This is my 4th tattoo and the only one I’ve got that’s been done in colour, still unfinished at present due to colour not taking to the skin. This tattoo was inked at IndelibleInk in Gosport and the reason behind the tattoo is I think this funky character is just what everyone needs as a friend :)

I wrote Joel a huge email ~back in the day~ on Christmas Eve and I woke up the next day to a HUGE reply. I almost wet myself and I cried forever because it was just fantastic. And then their second album came out and the text of his email to me was the entirety of “Hold On” and I shit so many brix.

I still do when I think about it. This band was incredible, those first two records were so fun.

Ah, this is a nice story. :3
